Dr. Ahmad E. Asbita Ahmida, known to patients as Dr. Asbita. Motivated by a deep passion for dentistry and a dedication to improving patients' lives, I pursued a career as an orthodontic specialist. I completed my residency at the University of Connecticut Health Center in 2022 and became board certified in 2024. Board certification reflects my commitment to ongoing professional development and maintaining the highest standards of care, ensuring I stay current with the latest advancements to benefit patient outcomes.
I am devoted to delivering individualized care, taking the time to understand each patient's unique needs. By integrating state-of-the-art technology and innovative treatment methods, I design tailored orthodontic plans that focus on achieving optimal results and patient comfort, grounded in evidence-based research.
I strive to create a welcoming environment that encourages open communication and collaboration with patients and their families throughout every stage of treatment. Outside the office, I enjoy swimming, cooking, gardening, and spending quality time with my kids and family. I also value connecting with friends and building meaningful relationships within my community. My goal is to ensure every patient feels valued and supported throughout their orthodontic journey.

The American Board of Orthodontics (ABO) is the oldest and most prestigious specialty board in dentistry. Earning board certification requires orthodontists to pass both a written clinical examination and a case-based oral examination — demonstrating mastery of diagnostic, treatment planning, and clinical skills beyond what is required to simply practice orthodontics.
